Organic Ceremonial Matcha

Ingredients: Organic Japanese matcha powder, stone-ground from premium shade-grown tencha leaves.

This ceremonial-grade matcha from The Republic of Tea® is a stone-ground, shade-grown powder offering a smooth, mellow cup with vegetal sweetness and a deep green color. Traditionally valued for its unique combination of caffeine and L-theanine, matcha is prized for supporting calm, focused energy rather than a jittery jolt. This tin holds 43g (1.5 oz) of loose matcha powder, about 30 cups — it is whisked into water rather than steeped in a bag. Suggested use: Add ½ to 1 teaspoon of matcha to a bowl or cup, add 6 oz of steaming (175°F) filtered water, then whisk briskly with a bamboo whisk, fork, or hand frother for one to two minutes until frothy and well blended.
