A traditional poke root oil infused into castor oil, an old-time carrier prized for its penetrating quality. Poke root (Phytolacca) has a long history in Appalachian and Western folk herbalism as a topical herb used to support the lymphatic system. Massage a small amount into the skin over the area of concern. Poke is a low-dose herb—use sparingly, avoid broken skin, and do not use during pregnancy or nursing.
